Started in 1984 by Mr. Hu as a traditional neighborhood spot, then transformed in 1993 when his son Calvin stepped in to modernize both the menu and the room - keeping the bones classic but pushing ingredients fresher and sauces lighter. Every ingredient comes from Hunt's Point Market in the Bronx, sourced to order. The philosophy is straightforward: let the quality of what you're cooking speak louder than heavy-handed seasoning.
