Otafuku is a Japanese restaurant on South Western Avenue in Gardena that you enter through an unmarked door off a parking lot. Inside is a quiet room turning out katsudon, sea eel tempura and dashimaki tamago with far more care than the entrance suggests. It keeps split lunch and dinner hours and closes Monday and Tuesday, so check before driving over.
