Hank opened on Fourth Street in 1992 after buying used equipment from a cafe that had closed, with friends and family pitching in on the construction and the plumbing. The dining room backs onto the creek it is named for, which is why the patio fills first on weekend mornings. Corned beef hash is made in house, and the cinnamon walnut French toast is what regulars point newcomers toward.
