Justin and Diane Fourton started Pecan Lodge as a farmers market booth. The lines got long enough that they opened a brick-and-mortar in Deep Ellum and the lines got longer still. The brisket is the calling card - peppery bark, rendered fat, smoke all the way through. The beef rib, sold by the bone, is an event. Come early. They sell out.
