Gardena Bowl Coffee Shop is the diner attached to the Gardena Bowl lanes on South Vermont Avenue, and the menu reads Japanese American and Hawaiian rather than standard coffee shop. Oxtail soup, char siu with egg foo young and a breakfast plate called the Hawaiian Royal come off a short order griddle a few feet from the bowlers. It is cheap, it opens at eight in the morning, and nobody will care that you are not bowling.
