Candlepin is a New England original - smaller balls, taller pins, no automatic pin-setting - and Sacco's is one of its best surviving homes. The lanes are old-school in the right way, and American Flatbread runs the kitchen: wood-fired organic pizzas coming out between frames. It's the kind of place that makes you realize good food and activities don't need to be in separate buildings.
