Gemini Room launched in December 2022 as a women and LGBTQIA+ owned dual-mode space on Capitol Hill's Pike/Pine corridor. By design it shifts: morning espresso and breakfast sandwiches give way at 4pm to retro cocktails themed to zodiac seasons and a shareable food menu. The owners built it to transition cleanly from neighborhood cafe to lounge, and the Mid-Century Modern bones and 70s aesthetic set an intentional mood that never slides into parody. No reservations means you show up, wait if needed, and become part of whatever vibe is happening.
