Rick Pichetrungsi opened this Ventura Boulevard Thai restaurant in 1981, and when his son Justin took over in 2019 he kept the family cooking while rebuilding the room around a serious natural wine list and weekly specials. The crispy fried chicken buried in shallots has become a citywide obsession, and on Tuesdays the menu turns into Thai tacos with dry-aged fish that draw lines down the block.
