Spit-roasted meat is the backbone of Greek street food, and in 2014 Souvla opened on Hayes Street to give it a proper San Francisco home, with rotisserie lamb, pork and chicken folded into wraps or piled on salads. This original room is still the smallest of the group, pairing fast counter ordering with an all-Greek wine list and a parklet built for lingering. Leave room for the frozen Greek yogurt with baklava crumbles and honey.
