Snake and Jake's is a converted shed behind a house on Oak Street, lit entirely by red Christmas lights that have never once come down. There are no windows and no clocks, which is deliberate: the real business happens between two and six in the morning, after everything else in the neighborhood has locked its doors. A Jagermeister shot with a beer back is more or less the only order the room recognizes.
