River Road out of Forestville is the corridor between the Russian River beaches and the redwoods, and since 1972 the pub has been where that traffic stops. It is a roadhouse in the plain sense: burgers, wings, a patio, and a crowd of canoe renters mixed with locals who have been coming since high school. The wings are the reason it gets named outside Sonoma County.
